Jesus-Messiah-9.pdf

An exposition of Jesus life meant for young and old, to make clear the deeper meaning of the Messiah.

In the previous section; in part 8, we talked extensively about Jesus’ important teachings concerning the sacrifice that Jesus had to bring and how that sacrifice means salvation to us.
The Lord’s Supper is meant for every consciously baptized Christian and Paul warns us in Colossians not to allow taking the price away from us, but to take part as a baptized Christian in the Lord’s Supper:

NKJV (Colossians 2: 18-19) 18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19 and not holding fast to the Head,……….

Theme: The theme of this writing is; Making the personal choice.

Jesus-Messiah-8.pdf

An exposition of Jesus life meant for young and old, to make clear the deeper meaning of the Messiah.

In the previous section; in part 7, we talked extensively about Jesus’ important teaching concerning the last days and what they will entail for us.
Jesus warned us not to be deceived concerning His coming in the last days:

NKJV (Matthew 24: 4-5) 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

We know that Jesus’ coming will be unmistakable because of His unique sign in the heavens that will come immediately after the great tribulation. Everyone will recognize Jesus sign as such:

NKJV (Matthew 24:30) 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
(See also Revelation 1: 7)

Theme: The theme of this writing is; The power of the sacrifice that Jesus had to bring, and how that sacrifice strengthens us and means salvation to us.

7. The promised Messiah

Jesus-Messiah-7.pdf

An exposition of Jesus life meant for young and old, to make clear the deeper meaning of the Messiah.

In the previous section; part 6, we talked extensively about God’s Kingdom.
The promised Kingdom, the Divine peace kingdom with a righteous government.
Everything that Jesus told about this, is coming from a reliable source:

NKJV (John 6:38) 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
NKJV (John 12:49) 49 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.

Theme: The theme of this writing will be about Jesus’ important education concerning the last days and what these will mean for us.

6. The promised Messiah

Jesus-Messiah-6.pdf

An exposition of Jesus’ life meant for young and old, to clarify the deeper meaning of the Messiah.

In the previous part; Part 5, we have extensively discussed about humility, goodness, mercy and justice, and what Jesus meant with ‘being no part of the world’.
But for Christians, there are other qualities needed to protect themselves:

NKJV (Ephesians 6: 13-17) 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

To be able to quench these fiery darts with the shield of faith, we first must recognize these darts.
What comes to us through newspapers and media does not always have to be based on truth.
According to Professor Peter Phillips, Professor of Sociology, Ph.D., University of California:
‘Eighty percent of all the news stories in the newspaper or corporate media are being funneled through a public relations propaganda firm, either government- or a private-firm. That’s a study that we worked on.’ ( https://youtu.be/xiN9EznSoTc )

These news reports are then distributed around the world by e.g. Reuters or Associated-Press.
Here, potential interests (or a secret agenda) play in the background, such as the interests of the mighty war industry or the financial industry.

Theme: The theme of this writing will be about Jesus’ important teaching concerning the promised Kingdom, the Divine Peace Kingdom with a righteous government.

5. The promised Messiah

Jesus-Messiah-5.pdf

An exposition of Jesus’ life meant for young and old, to clarify the deeper meaning of the Messiah.

In the previous part; Part 4, we have extensively discussed about ‘forgiveness’ of our neighbor, especially what Jesus taught us about this and how Jesus acted.

NKJV (Psalm 118: 22) 22 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.

Jesus disciples must always be willing to forgive and are not of this world, but what does that mean? In John chapter 17 Jesus expresses a fervent prayer towards his heavenly Father concerning his disciples:

NKJV (John 17: 14-17) 14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

In Jesus days, the spiritual leaders had love of money, the Sadducees came from the Jewish aristocracy, the landowners and rich merchants, the other spiritual leaders, the Pharisees, were covetous. (Luke 16:14).
Materialism or love of money was also in those days very common among the leaders.

ESV (Isaiah 9:16) 16 for those who guide this people have been leading them astray, and those who are guided by them are swallowed up.

Theme: The theme of this writing will be about Jesus teaching concerning humility, goodness, mercy, and justice.

4. The promised Messiah

Jesus-Messiah-4.pdf

An exposition of Jesus’ life meant for young and old, to clarify the deeper meaning of the Messiah.

In the previous section, part 3, we have extensively discussed the spiritual leaders in Jesus days and how Jesus corrected them:

NKJV (Luke 11: 52-54) 52 “Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.” 53 And as He said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to assail Him vehemently, and to cross-examine Him about many things, 54 lying in wait for Him, and seeking to catch Him in something He might say, that they might accuse Him.

In His teachings, Jesus often spoke of how important ‘forgiving’ is and emphasized that it has profound consequences when we do not forgive:

NKJV (Matthew 6: 14-15) 14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Forgiving of our neighbor will be the theme of this writing, especially how Jesus handled this, how Jesus acted and what His teachings were, and the teachings in Scripture.

Theme: The ‘Forgiving’ of our neighbor

3. The promised Messiah

Jesus-Messiah-3.pdf

An exposition of Jesus’ life meant for young and old, to clarify the deeper meaning of the Messiah.

In the previous section, part 2, we have extensively discussed Satan as the world ruler, the one who may certainly not be underestimated:

NKJV (2 Corinthians 4: 3-4) 3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

Jesus did not avoid any enemy. He gave beautiful and special education.
He was approachable to the poor and sinners and He showed us, how to live the best in harmony with His words and how to deal with our neighbors.
Christianity is therefore based on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ:
The evangelist John wrote about Jesus:

NKJV (John 1: 9) 9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

1. The promised Messiah

Jesus-Messiah-1.pdf

An overview beginning with the creation to Jesus as a teenager.
The reason why Jesus had to come as the promised savior.

Long ago God began his creation of the earth. It is not known how long ago, because according to our research, the six days of creation in the Bible are not literal 24-hour days but are prolonged periods. Periods in which extinct animals such as dinosaurs have lived.
The 7th day of creation or period was according to Genesis 2: 2 the rest day of God.
God called his creation in Genesis 1:31 good, exceptionally good.
The Earth with its plants, trees, fish, birds and animals and insects is very old, but not the people. A little over 6,000 years ago, during the 6th day of creation, the first humans were created. It was the crown of the whole creation.
In the midst of the paradise stood the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Of all trees Adam and Eve were allowed to eat, but of this tree of knowledge of good and evil they were not allowed to eat under no circumstances.
By eating of the tree of life, the aging and illness of people could be recovered.
The first human beings were also unaware of their nakedness, their mind was attuned to their Creator.
