Daniel part 4.pdf

CSB (Daniel 12: 4) 4 But you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.

Why is so much attention given to the Antichrist in the Bible?
Because this person becomes by far the greatest attacker of God’s people. It is this person, a Satanist, who as king will cause the great tribulation for God’s people.

Summary part 3:
The jealousy and contempt of the elite for faithful worshipers in Babylon.
Faithful Christians are no part of this world with its unreasonable and callous elite.
The 4 world powers that will come since the last king Zedekiah of Judah, in the line of David.
The 7 world powers that will come since the call of Abraham from Ur, the USA as 7th.
Some of the holy angels cause a devastating apostasy, they become demons, helpers of Satan.
Some of God’s people cause a devastating apostasy, they become children of Satan.

Theme: The angel Gabriel told Daniel a prophecy that is being fulfilled in the present days.

Daniel chapter 9

  • Daniel’s supplication

In the first year of Darius’ reign, Daniel examined the books of Jeremiah and read in them that after seventy years after the destruction of Jerusalem, God would again look after His people (Daniel 9: 1-2):

CSB (Jeremiah 25:12) 12 When the 70 years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation’-[this is] the Lord’s declaration-‘the land of the Chaldeans, for their guilt, and I will make it a ruin forever.
CSB (Jeremiah 29:10) 10 For this is what the Lord says: “When 70 years for Babylon are complete, I will attend to you and will confirm My promise concerning you to restore you to this place.

Daniel supplicated, fasted, and confessed the gross mistakes of the Jewish people so that God would show His mercy to the Jewish people in Babylon (Dan. 9: 3-18).

  1. The prophecy of the 70 weeks

An answer was immediately sent after Daniel’s prayer and supplications.
While Daniel was still saying his prayers, Gabriel came to teach him. Gabriel confirmed to Daniel that the Jews would return to their land, and that Jerusalem would be rebuilt with the temple. He also told about a Messiah, the Prince, who would come:

(Daniel 9:24) 24 “Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.

The 70 weeks prophecy is also – according to our study – the description of the end of the Mosaic Law, which would be replaced by the ‘new covenant’ that Jesus made with his apostles. ‘To finish the transgression of the law covenant’, no Jew could keep this law covenant perfectly:

(Galatians 3:10) 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”

(Daniel 9:25) 25 “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times.

From ‘the command to rebuild Jerusalem’ to the Messiah, 7 + 62 weeks would pass.

(Daniel 9:26) 26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined.

Jesus gave His life ‘not for Himself’ and was killed as a ransom for sinful mankind:

(Mark 10:45) 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

When Daniel received the prophecy, the 1st temple was long destroyed by the Babylonians. While Gabriel talks about ‘a new temple’, he immediately adds that ‘the sanctuary’ will be destroyed by a prince. It is the destruction of the 2nd temple by the Romans in 70 AD. The flood is the Hebrew metaphor for great armies. “There will be war until the end.” Satan as ruler of this world will bring war:

(Matthew 24: 6) 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

(Daniel 9:27) 27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”

The Hebrew word for ‘weeks’ is less specific in itself, meaning a group of ‘seven’, a heptad. In fact, it is written, 70 groups of 7.
It could not have been literally 70 weeks (or well over a year) in this prophecy.
Then, Christ could not be the promised Messiah.
When we take as a hypothesis for each day a year, as also applied with Ezekiel 4: 6 ‘For each year I have set upon you a day’ and at Numbers 14:34 ‘forty days, for each day a year’, we are no longer speaking about ‘weeks’, but about ‘year weeks’.
Jesus died for us after +/- 3.5 years of preaching, at about half of the year week.
After Jesus’ perfect sacrifice as the Lamb of God, that recurring sacrifice was no longer necessary:

(Hebrews 10:12, 18) 12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God… 18 Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

The Most Holy is the holiest part of the temple (Exodus 26:33) where also the Ark of the Covenant stood. A veil hung between the holy place and the Most Holy. This veil was torn in two when Jesus died (Matthew 27:51):

(Hebrews 9:12) 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He (Christ) entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

Daniel 9: 27b And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”

It means nothing else than that Jerusalem with God’s temple would be destroyed by ‘a ruthless adversary, an unbelieving destroyer’ until the consummation:

(Matthew 23: 37-38) 37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 See! Your house is left to you desolate.

Although the destruction of the 2nd temple would occur after the ‘seventy weeks’, ‘this destruction would be directly related to the events during the first half of the 70th week. Many Jews did not believe the Son of God, the Messiah, and rejected Him.

  1. What Jesus foretold about the temple of Jerusalem in His days on earth

In order to better understand the prophecy of the 70 weeks, it is important to know what Jesus said about this. During His preaching, Jesus announced the destruction of Jerusalem with its temple:

(Matthew 24: 1-2) 1 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

When would the temple be torn down brick by brick?
That answer requires careful explanation, because in His answer Jesus spoke of ‘the abomination of desolation’, where Daniel also spoke of:

(Matthew 24: 15-16) 15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

In Matthew 24:15, in the inserted sentence is written, ‘whoever reads, let him understand’, which means something like ‘to read this with discernment’.
What would have to be discerned?
According to our research, a discernment must be made between two different situations; 1st the holy place of Jerusalem with its abomination and 2th in the end times with its abomination. With the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in the 1st century was for the Jews their place destroyed, where they offered their daily sacrifices and also the annual Passover sacrifice.
Jerusalem – including the temple – was destroyed in 70 AD by the Romans under command of General Titus, the son of the Roman emperor Vespasian.
A little further in that same part, in Matthew 24:21, Jesus speaks of a great tribulation that will then take place, as it has never been before:

(Matthew 24:21) 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

During the siege of Jerusalem, a great tribulation has taken place, about 1 million Jews were killed at that time. But Matthew 24: 29-30 tells us that after that great tribulation the Son of man will appear:

(Matthew 24: 29-30) 29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

With the great tribulation mentioned by Jesus, there can impossibly be meant the tribulation in 70 AD. For immediately after the great tribulation Jesus will return on the clouds to gather His elect to meet the Lord (1 Thess. 4: 16-17).
This is also confirmed by Revelation 3:10, where is spoken of a trial or tribulation that is to come in the last days upon all the world.

  1. The second abomination of desolation and second fulfillment of the great tribulation

What is then the second fulfillment of ‘the abomination of desolation’ of the sanctuary? What is a very holy place? That is definitely God’s temple. But what is then the abomination of desolation in the last days? Why does Jesus quote the words of Daniel, and where exactly did Daniel talk about? Daniel describes several times the despicable king (the Antichrist) in the last days:

(Daniel 11:21, 31) 21 And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue. … . 31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.
(For the Antichrist in Daniel, see also: 3. The secrets from the book of Daniel unraveled)

We now know, that a distinction must be made between two different situations, first of all the despicable Roman king Vespasian who made his son Titus set up an abomination of desolation. That was a fence around Jerusalem (with its temple) with pointed posts that cut off the Jews from the outside world and from the necessities of life.
And in the end times a despicable king (the Antichrist), king of the 7th and last world power the USA with his abomination of desolation of the Christian community or temple.
For Christians themselves have been, since the destruction in 70 AD, the temple of God:

(1 Corinthians 3: 16-17) 16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
(2 Corinthians 6:16) 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God….

What could then be ‘the daily sacrifices’ in this ‘Christian’ temple?
After Jesus sacrifice, the ‘new’ recurring sacrifice has become the faith in Jesus’ words:

(Hebrews 13:15) 15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
(1 Peter 2: 5) 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

This ‘taking away’ of the recurring sacrifice in the last days is to silence the Christians with their message of the good news. When great pressure causes many to stumble (the falling away – 2 Thess. 2: 3) because many lose their jobs, become the scapegoats, or are shunned in the civil community. Then Christians start to hate and betray one another (Matthew 24: 9-10), then that is the marker of the ‘recurring sacrifice’ that will be taken away in the end time. In the end time, desolation will be poured out on the Christians by placing the abomination. The devastating abomination of the end times is the imposition of the mark you must have in order to buy or sell (Revelation 13:16, 17). It’s worshiping the beast or image, which is idolatry. It is the worship of Satan.

Just as the Roman invasion force destroyed the temple in the 1st century, so in the end time the 8th kingdom (the 10 uncrowned kings) of the private central banks will bring about an economic disaster. This is done through their network of ally’s, via secret societies or via Freemasonry. These children of Satan engage in secret and dark affairs that cannot stand the light of day, with their lies and sweet talk to centralize power:

(Ephesians 5: 11-12) 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.

This small group of exorbitantly wealthy persons want to buy up all the real value at bargain prices, and use humanity as their new trained slaves with an idolatrous access system.
The World Economic Forum’s slogan; ‘Own Nothing and Be Happy’: The Great Reset.
But, talking about a reset, doesn’t it make much more sense to divide all the wealth of that tiny exorbitantly rich group among humanity? Now it will be ’The Great Robbery‘ instead of ‘The Great Reset‘.
Evil philanthropists have deliberately corrupted journalists, media and politicians in order to eventually force people to get vaccinated – to be able to buy food – ,with great risks and dramatic results, such as autism, paralysis, infertility, cancer or even death. In the long term, the unique immune system is then irrevocably disrupted. Autoimmune problems will then become commonplace.
As first, they want to take away people’s privacy by injecting traceable nano chips. The technique is already there to trace, to record the entire social pattern and to be able to genetically modify human cells. So to make controllable slaves. According to Jesus we can expect multiple infectious diseases (plural):

(Matthew 24: 7) 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

In Revelation the method for the idolatrous access system is described:

(Revelation 13: 16-17) 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
(Revelation 14: 9-10) 9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God….

Faithful Christians will never accept the mark, the symbol of idolatry.

  1. The saints, their role after Jesus’ ascension and their role during the 2 witnesses prophecy

The role of the saints after Pentecost in the 1st century

(Daniel 9:27) 27…. Halfway through the week He will stop sacrifice and grain offering….

Halfway through the year week, the Messiah was killed. After Jesus ascended to heaven, the first Jewish disciples of Jesus were sanctified during Pentecost +/- 33 AD.
The saints referred to were initially only Jews who had joined the promised Messiah. The Feast of Weeks (Hebrew Shavuoth) was originally the ’feast of firstfruits‘, the first and best part of the (barley-) crop of the Israelites, which was offered 50 days after Passover in God’s temple (Numbers 28:26 – day of the firstfruits):

CSB (Acts 2: 1-4) 1 When the day of Pentecost had arrived, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like that of a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were staying. 3 And tongues, like flames of fire that were divided, appeared to them and rested on each one of them. 4 Then they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different languages, as the Spirit gave them ability for speech.

To be called firstfruits means that these persons belong to a group that will be the first in regard to a heavenly resurrection. The 144,000 Saints are called firstfruits several times in Scriptures (James 1:18) (Rev. 14: 1, 4). After Pentecost, after the first sanctification, preaching took place in Jerusalem against Jews from all parts of the world in their own language, and the good news was spread also through this to all parts of the world (Acts 2: 4-11). The saints preached and made disciples in the 2nd half of the 70th week.
The Mosaic Law covenant would remain in force for the Jews for another half year week (+/- 3.5 years) after Jesus’ death. After that, their recurring sacrifices in the temple would no longer be accepted. Then, after these 3.5 years, the Gentiles were also baptized by the Holy Spirit and included in the new covenant. As first the Italian centurion Cornelius with his family:

(Acts 10: 1-2, 45) 1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, 2 a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always…. 45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.

So finally, after 3.5 years after Jesus’ death, the delay of grace came to an end.

The role of the Saints in the last days
The 144,000 Saints, called firstfruits in Scripture, are not the only firstfruits, however. All who will be part of God’s first spiritual harvest are firstfruits. The prophets are also saints, the firstfruits of the Old Testament:

(Luke 1:70) 70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, Who have been since the world began, (for holy prophets see also Acts 3:21)

Daniel 7: 25-26 speaks of the persecution of ‘the saints of the Most High’, after which the court is seated and the Antichrist will be destroyed. Revelation 11: 3, 7 speaks about the two witnesses or holy prophets of God, being overcome and killed:

(Daniel 7: 25-26) 25 He (the other little horn, the Antichrist ) shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time. 26 ‘But the court shall be seated, And they shall take away his dominion, To consume and destroy it forever.
(Revelation 11:3, 7) 3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”…. 7 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them.

So in both Daniel 7: 25-26 as in Revelation 11: 3, 7 (the two witnesses’ prophecy) is spoken of the same situation, for these Scriptures are both fulfilled just before the end:

(Matthew 24:14) 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

  1. The 70 weeks prophecy, summarizing

In the section ‘4. What Jesus has foretold in His days on earth’, Matthew 24: 1-30 showed the double fulfillment of the abomination of desolation and the great tribulation.
Daniel 9:27 also speaks about the desolation of the sacrifices ‘until the consummation’:

(Daniel 9:27) 27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”

In the section ‘3. The second abomination of desolation and second fulfillment of the great tribulation’, it appeared that the ‘new’ recurring sacrifice is faith in Jesus’ words and the spiritual sacrifices. The fruit of the lips to tell about Jesus ‘Until the consummation’. For that reason, the last half week also has a double fulfillment, as also appears from Daniel 7: 25-26:

(Daniel 7: 25-26) 25 He (the other little horn, the Antichrist) shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time. 26 ‘But the court shall be seated, And they shall take away his dominion, To consume and destroy it forever.

The two witnesses’ prophecy – by the two holy prophets – will take 42 months (of 30 days) or 1,260 days. That is also exactly 3.5 prophetic years or a half year week:

(Revelation 11: 2-3) 2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. 3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”

Also in Revelation 13: 5-7 we find support for a period of 42 months or 3.5 prophetic years of blasphemy and persecution of the holy prophets:

(Revelation 13: 5-7) 5 And he (the beast, the king of the 7th world power) was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them….

Both in Daniel 9:27, Op. 13: 5-7 as in Op. 11: 2-3 (the two witnesses’ prophecy) speaks of exactly the same time period of 42 months or a half year week of 3.5 years. It is the double fulfillment of the last half week ‘until the consummation’.

The decree of Cyres the Great, king of Persia, to rebuild the temple :
(Ezra 1: 1-3) 1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying, 2 Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah. 3 Who is among you of all His people? May his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel (He is God), which is in Jerusalem.

A limited group of Jews began rebuilding the 2nd temple under the direction of Zerubbabel and in collaboration with the high priest Joshua (Zechariah chapters 3 + 4).
After the temple was completed, it was dedicated with a feast (Ezra chapter 6).

Many years passed after that. It was the twentieth regnal year of King Artaxerxes of Persia. Nehemiah was a servant to King Artaxerxes I of Persia and was downcast because Jerusalem and its city wall had still not been rebuilt. He received permission from King Artaxerxes to rebuild Jerusalem with signed letters for the passage and for the necessary materials (Nehemiah 2: 1-8):

(Nehemiah 2: 6) 6 Then the king (Artaxerxes) said to me (the queen also sitting beside him), “How long will your journey be? And when will you return?” So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time…..

The latter was the word to rebuild, where the calculation of Daniel 9:25 is based on.

  1. Calculation of the years, derived from the two witnesses prophecy

Hypothesis of the 70 weeks vision:
Every week = 7 days now becomes 7 years. As also applied with Ezekiel 4:6 ‘For each year I lay upon you a day’, with Numbers 14:34 ‘forty days, for each day a year’ and as also that the 7th day was to be a Sabbath day, but for the land, the 7th year was to be a Sabbath year according to Lev. 25: 3-4.
It seems logical that it took 7 (year) weeks = 49 years to rebuild Jerusalem.
7 year weeks until the rebuilding of Jerusalem + 62 year weeks until the Messiah = 69 year weeks.

When, and in what year did Jesus become the promised Messiah?
Jesus became Messiah (anointed by the Holy Spirit) immediately after His baptism, when the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in the shape of a dove. (Matt. 3:16)(See also Isa. 61: 1-3) Andrew told his brother Simon that he had found the Messiah (John 1: 41-42).
John the Baptist began baptizing in the 15th regnal year of Tiberius Caesar (Luke 3: 1-3).
Jesus was about 30 years old at his baptism (Luke 3: 21-23).
Tiberius’ reign began +/- 14 AD. So the 15th regnal year was +/- 29 AD.
That means that in +/- 29 AD Jesus approximately became the promised Messiah (Anointed one). Jesus died in +/- 29 AD + 3.5 years = +/- 33 AD, at the half of the 70th year week.

From the time the word went out to rebuild Jerusalem, to the Messiah, 7 + 62 = 69 weeks passed. The word that went out (of Artaxerxes) to rebuild Jerusalem (Nehemiah 2: 1-8), must have been 69 year weeks earlier.
In the 2 witness prophecy (Rev. 11: 2-3), 42 prophetic months of 30 days are mentioned, also described in that Scripture as 1260 days.
69 year weeks = 483 years, in this case prophetic years of 360 days.
483 prophetic years are +/- 476 solar years (of 365 days).

To issue the word to rebuild Jerusalem:
+/- 29 AD – 476 years = +/- 448 BC. (The year 0 does not exist)

In the previous article we saw that the Sprout (Jesus) on the new earth will build the temple of Ezekiel’s vision (Zechariah 6: 12-13).
However, preparations are underway that a temple will also be built in Jerusalem for the Antichrist (2 Thess. 2: 3-4).
(See also: 7. Conquering Satan’s world just as Jesus did. How can we do that?)

The 1st  fulfillment of the 70 weeks prophecy
The 70 weeks prophecy is a continuous period for the 1st  fulfillment (Dan. 9:24).
From the coming of the Messiah in +/- 29 AD. + 7 years = +/- 36 AD.

The 2nd fulfillment of the 70 weeks prophecy
The 2nd fulfillment will be at the end of the two witnesses prophecy (Rev. 11: 1-14).
The 70 weeks for God’s people will thus be ended ‘until the consummation’ (Dan. 9:27) to bring about eternal righteousness (Daniel 9:24).

Immediately thereafter, God’s kingdom will begin (Rev. 11:15) and the ‘destroyer’ (Dan. 9:27) – the Antichrist – will be destroyed and Satan will be bound for 1000 years:

(Revelation 19:20) 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two (the beast and the false prophet, the Antichrist) were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
(Revelation 20: 2) 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

Finally:

It will again be an exciting happening in the last days – before the big day of God comes – that Christian sons and daughters will speak in languages and shall prophesy, as happened during Pentecost in the 1st century after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2: 16-20).

Summary part 4:
The 1st fulfillment of the 70 weeks prophecy came, from the coming of the Messiah in +/- 29 AD. + 7 years = +/- 36 AD. (3.5 years after Jesus’ death) with the end of reprieve of grace for the Jews.
The 2nd fulfillment of the 70 weeks will be at the end of the two witnesses’ prophecy (after 42 months or 3.5 years) with the end of reprieve of grace for the unbelieving fellow men, where after God’s Kingdom will begin (Rev. 11: 15).

In the following article, we will discuss the next chapters of Daniel.
