In the previous article we talked about the persecution of the Christians, the new heaven and the new earth and why it is logical that the great multitude will be included in heaven.

Every (living) eye will see the sign of Jesus in heaven;

NKJV (Revelation 1: 7) 7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him.

John writes that those who pierced Him will see Him, those are the descendants of the royal house of David, the Jewish community:

NKJV (Zechariah 12:10) 10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him…..

Although a Roman soldier has pierced Jesus (John 19:34), it is written in Acts 2:23 and 5:30 that the religious Jewish leaders were responsible for Jesus death. During Jesus’ second coming, the Jewish community will also witness the sign, while they have not discerned the coming of the Messiah and the signs in His days. (Matt. 16: 3)

The theme of this article is the millennial kingdom, the New Jerusalem that will descend and the new temple that will be built.
